After a pair of agonizing losses in Milwaukee, the Rays will look to turn the World Series around as they return to Florida for Game 3.
The Brewers rallied from a 4-0 first-inning deficit in Game 2, chipping away at the Tampa Bay pitching staff while their bullpen put up six scoreless innings before Cooper Pratt singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh for a 5-4 win.
The Rays will hope a return to Tropicana Field, where their 55-26 record during the regular season matched Milwaukee’s for MLB’s best mark at home, helps get them back on track. It will be the first World Series game at the Trop since Oct. 23, 2008, when the Rays picked up their lone win of that five-game series loss to the Phillies.
Better yet for Tampa Bay, Freddy Peralta will get the start on the heels of earning MVP honors in the ALCS. The Rays will need another shutdown performance from him along with more consistent production from their lineup to get back in the series.
Here’s everything you need to know about Game 3 of the World Series, including TV channel and streaming options for Rays vs. Brewers.
When is the next World Series game?
After a travel day Sunday, Game 3 of the World Series between the Rays and Brewers is scheduled to begin Monday at 8 p.m. from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
