Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —A new survey finds that six in ten Americans have made an expensive purchase they later regretted, highlighting the financial stress that can come from spending decisions
From luxury purchases and gambling to buying vehicles, financial regrets can leave Americans feeling anxious about their money and uncertain about their financial future.
Personal finance expert Kimberly Palmer joins ARC Bakersfield to discuss why financial regret is so common and how people can avoid costly mistakes while building healthier financial habits.
The survey also found that nearly a quarter of Americans think about their financial regrets at least once a week, while about 30 percent say checking their bank balance makes them anxious.
Palmer discusses ways to overcome financial stress, avoid impulse purchases and make smarter spending decisions without letting past mistakes control the future.
She also shares advice for Americans who wish they had started investing earlier, including small steps they can take now to begin building wealth and feel more confident about their finances.
